I mean if she throws fhat ball one more time,Watercolour size 14x10,not sure i'm done,will take it to art class tonight and take a vote wether it needs more.

Watercolour size 16x12,portrait,trying out new colours for skin tones,gamboge,scarlet lake,opera rose,will try adding layers,later i will add purple,mauve,burnt sienna to try for a rich mahogany colour.

Dreadlocks

Ok this is mixed media,black gessoe on watercolour paper,watercolour underpainting,trying to pull it altogether with soft pastels,initial drawing and first layer of pastel,hopefully i can build layers even change some colours if i want.

Mrs Mackay

Well not been in here for a while,real life getting in the way,weather,minor ailments,i have been experimenting with textures,surfaces,mixed media,here are two portraits which are completely different from each other.

Edinburgh Castle

This was done for a week end painting event,this is the north side of the castle,and mt ref pic was taken in January,lots of snow,size is mounted 19x15.
